ACorp is proud to have delivered the newly redeveloped Goldfields Basketball Stadium, officially opened by Western Australian Premier Roger Cook as part of the $14.8 million transformation under the Kal City Centre Redevelopment Project.
Awarded the construction contract for this flagship community project, ACorp was honoured to play a leading role in bringing this important regional facility to life, one that will serve the sporting and community needs of Kalgoorlie-Boulder for generations to come.
The project marks a significant investment in local infrastructure, made possible through the support of all levels of government and the tireless dedication of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Basketball Association.
As part of our commitment to supporting regional economies, we sourced around 80% of trades from the Goldfields region during the build.
“We’re pleased to have been awarded the contract for a local project that will benefit the community for years to come,” said Sam Turner, ACorp’s Goldfields Manager, in a press interview. “We’re pretty lucky to get to work many of the same local trades and have built really strong relationships over the years.”
We thank the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the Western Australian Government, and the entire project team for their collaboration and vision. ACorp is proud to be part of a project that truly embodies community building in every sense.
